Weapon X (Sketches and Thumbs)

This is the start to my next re-concept painting.  Wolverine is a character that is soooooooooooooooooo overused, but I've been a fan of ole cannuckle head since way back when Chris Claramont was doing a superb job of characterizing him.  I hate this John Howlette stuff, give me Logan, the old, didn't know his past or how old he was, non emo, berserker supreme from them dayz.  These are my Thumbs, Rough Sketch and Value Sketch to get me going.  I should be done with the painting in a couple days or so - stay posted :D
